Panama City Beach will have it's first annual Christmas Boat Parade this Saturday, December 4th on Grand Lagoon.
Panama City Beach will have it's first annual Christmas Boat Parade this Saturday, December 4th on Grand Lagoon. The parade will be viewable from several locations along the Lagoon such as the Lighthouse Marina, Captain Anderson's, Pirate's Cove Marina and the Boatyard Restaurant. A string of gaily decorated boats will launch just after sunset and travel from Bay Point Marina, throughout the Lagoon and back to the Marina. Tuesday, November 23, 2010, is the filing deadline for emergency advance payments for losses from the oil spill.
Individuals and Businesses that have incurred damages as a result of the oil spill may submit a temporary claim to the Gulf Coast Claims Facility, for Removal and Clean Up Costs, Damage to Real or Personal Property, Lost Earnings or Profits, Loss of Subsistence Use of Natural Resources, or Physical Injury or Death, but only until Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Permanent claims will be accepted until August 23, 2013. Watch our main blog for more detailed information.

The Clean Water Good Vibes Music and Art Festival will have it's sophomore year at Spinnaker Beach Club on Saturday, November 13th. After a summer of worry about conserving the cleanliness of our waters and maintaining the way of life Panama City Beach locals and visitors expect, this festival is highly anticipated the second time around. The festival will kick off at 11am with music starting at noon. Nine bands will perform throughout the day alongside art, yoga, a surfboard raffle and more!
